Lunar eclipse

Spent some time outdoors Wednesday evening - well, in & out, because it was COLD. The lunar eclipse put on a fasinating & beautiful show. But then we should not be suprised, nature does that often. I am posting one image as the full moon rose over the mountain & another of the eclipse.

Lazy

I have been lazy lately & have not posted. Not a lot going on right now. I did make it out to capture a fantastic sunset Saturday evening. We went to the top of a local mountain - amazing colors! I really like the tree branches off to the side, adds a little extra something.

Rainbow

This beautiful sight greeted me as I returned to my office one day last week. I stopped to enjoy & capture for later. As I got closer to town a double rainbow was visable. Unfortunately, I was unable to record both. What a glorious way to end a work day!

A Brave Fern

Another shot from Buchanan's Birthplace State Park. This brave fern shows some color in an otherwise monotone setting.

Friday Afternoon

My husband & I took an afternoon off to relax & decided to take the camera's for a ride. Does this view of the tree tops make you feel insignificant? Sure does me! Will share other images from James Buchanan State Park as time goes on.

Trinity

I don't think I have introduced you to this young lady (former princess & current Hannah Montana fan) as of yet. She is our oldest grandchild, Trinity, who is 7 years old. She is shown here with Levi at his party. Trinity is Mady's, big sister & is an excellent 1st grade student.

The second picture is something I couldn't resist - Levi's little toes latched on to the highchair. Seems every baby I have known has rested their toes in this manner.

We had all of the grandkids together on Saturday. It is still way too hard to capture all @ one time! As you can see Nolan was having a great time.

Levi's Party

Levi celebrated his birthday 1 day late, but as you can see he had a good time. The presents were good (especially the paper & ribbon) and the cake was great!!!
