It finally snowed this past week! But then, yep, you guessed it, MORE ice! A solid layer of ice right on top that beautiful soft snow. Anyway, this gave me a reason experiment with the star filter again. The first shot is the field across the road from my house. The second is the icy snow in my front yard. I did clean #2 up a bit in PSE & increased the blue tones.

You bet! It snowed here in Reading, PA a bit also. Got around 3 inches of the white stuff. Then, we got ice as you did. I have no problem with the snow, but the ice I can do without.

I like the pictures you got with your star filter. It's too bad you got ice on top of the snow. The snow by itself would have been preferable as far as I'm concerned.
