Cloudy Baltimore Skies

Hello again, Skywatch friends. As much as one hates to wish life away, Friday always sounds good to me! I have been sharing shots from my recent National Aquarium visit. The weather was cloudy & rainy last Saturday, but that did not stop the Canon XT & I! First image in today's post shows the busy skyline along Inner Harbor. The second is the Inner Harbor flag sharing cloudy skies with the Baltimore Trade Center. I like the touch of color in a picture that is basically grey. Enjoy lovely sky images & share your own by clicking here.

Thanks, Jean, for taking me "back home" with these photos. I lived for awhile in MD and often visited Inner Harbor by boat.

Great shots. Maybe next time will bring you sunny skies.

Jean: These are a neat look at the skyline when the weather didn't
co-operate.

You show that there can be a picture even on a dreary day. Godd work.

What a shame you've had foggy weather. It makes it hard to see the sky!

Looks really grim there. Which oddly enough reminds me of the last time I was in Baltimore. Is the weather always like that??

I think you a brave soul to be out getting all those pictures in that weather!

Those foggy gray skies look all too familiar to me! Nice shots.

Ahh a Rusty Scupper. Wish we had some of those here in the Midwest, but I guess that wouldn't make sense :)

I visited the Inner Harbor once, many years ago; such a fun place. Quite lovely foggy photo there!

Rainy grey sky makes the flag stand out.
