My travel for work took me to Roaring Springs PA this morning. The well known Roaring Spring bottled water is captured here. The spring enters into a pond that is home to a number of ducks, fish, & a beautiful fountain. Benches have been provided to allow one to enjoy a bit of peace in the midst of the busy town. I've been told the fountain is lit by colored spot lights after dark, something I hope to see one day. Appleton Paper Company also makes its home here. The images show above are a by-product of the paper making process & is a very familiar sight to residents & travelers. Not a nice or beautiful Skywatch, but very much part of the sky in this area. Why not join in the Skywatch fun by clicking HERE!

I actually think this is pretty. It looks like giant storm clouds. But I'm guessing the smell isn't so pleasant!
At first I thought a storm was brewing - then realized it was smoke.I'm originally from Lancaster County, PA.
No way can that be good for the environment.
Very cool photo, thanks for sharing.
Have a great weekend!

I don't know what to say, except, that can't be healthy!
Man-made clouds, hopefully only with waer vapor.
Thanks for commenting on my Skywatch photo. I didn't know about the bottled water, thanks for the info along with the pic!
oh its a smoke? fat and stinky one and not good for the health and environment but these shots are beautiful. :)

There is something magical about these photos.
I love when the sky is that dark gray color! Very dramatic!
I must admit I have never liked the smell of paper mills. But the sky is lovely otherwise!
Beatiful shots of all that steam.
Industry can make some very interesting photos. Thanks for visiting my blog.
